Kasey McHale
Publicity Coordinator
Kasey has loved being on the stage since she was little, and is grateful for
every opportunity that has come her way!  Born and raised here in Central
New York, she has been one of the lucky ones to perform in various groups
and learn from all the talent Syracuse has to offer!  She began performing in
school (Go OCS Tigers!), as well as singing and dancing.  Her first community
theatre group was the traveling children's group, The Onondaga Hill Players.
Here she traveled around the area, performing in such roles as the Tinman in
The Wizard of Oz, Maide Marian in The Adventures of Maide Marian,
Stepsister Frump in Cinderella, and D'Jinn in The Just So Stories.  This lead
her to work in various productions at Salt City Playhouse, Syracuse Children's
Theatre, and eventually lead her through high school and to LeMoyne
College.

As a Dolphin, Kasey was a Theatre Arts Major and Music Minor.  In her 4
years, she studied acting, voice, dance, stage management, lighting design,
choreography, directing and dramatic arts education.  She performed with the
LeMoyne College Singers, LeMoyne Student Dance Company and the vocal
jazz ensemble, the Jazzuits.  She also performed on stage as Kitty in Brother,
Helen in Tales of Hollywood, Tammy Sue in Lives of the Great Waitresses,
Dolly in She Stoops to Conquer, and Woman #1 in Songs for a New World.
During this time she also worked very closely with the Gifford Family Theatre,
and created, edited and wrote for a performing arts newsletter for the campus
called The PAC Press.

After college, Kasey moved to the Big Apple to truly find herself in the bright
lights.  Although it was an experience of great learning and adventure, Kasey
began to miss the heart that can only be found in Syracuse's community
stages and she came home to find a world of opportunity.  Since being back,
Kasey has been seen as Sister Mary Leo in Nuncrackers!, Marcy in I Love
You Because, and as Christine in The Bad Seed, which earned her a 2012
SALT nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Play.  Kasey is also very active
in her church, singing and song writing with the contemporary christian band
Circle of Friends, and running the children's theatre group, the Angel Players.

All her love goes out to her incredibly supportive family, her amazing friends
without whom she'd be nothing, and her cat, Lucas Scott.
